As an AIV Engineer, you ensure that our space instruments are assembled, aligned, and tested according to the highest standards and specifications including work in cleanroom environments.
Define and maintain test and assembly procedures in close collaboration with the design office
Support the development of tools (hardware and software) for our space projects
Take responsibility for the Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) of space instruments,
Participate in test campaigns and act as the go-to expert for all assembly-related matters
Support quality reviews and perform Root Cause Analysis when needed
Document and report progress to internal and external stakeholders
Ensure that test instruments and facilities meet the requirements of current and future projects
Standardize maintenance and calibration routines, and document equipment and facilities accordingly
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
Minimum of 5 years of experience preferably in the space or aerospace sector
You have experience working with electro‑optical components, including integration, alignment, and optical performance measurements.
Hands-on experience with cleanroom procedures and high-precision assembly
Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving
Familiarity with quality standards and documentation practices
A proactive team player with excellent communication skills
Fluent in English
